What are the requirements to be an owner of the cannabis business?

The following is considered to be an owner:

• CEO of an entity
• Person with interest of at least 20%
• A nonprofit board of director's member
• Person involved with management of business

What information is required from person with financial interests in the cannabis business?

For non-owners that have a financial interest, the following information must be included for each person:
• Name
• Birthdate
• Government issued ID Number

If owner has history of criminal conviction, can owner offer evidence of rehabilitation?

Yes, owner can provide evidence of rehabilitation with the application.

Are there exceptions to financial interest holders being required to named in applications?

Banks are not required to be named.

Do people with financial interests in the business have to disclose this on the application?

Yes, any person with financial interests must be disclosed.
